WHAT IS A MODULAR HOME?
A home, factory constructed in a controlled environment that is built with quality materials and components just like a stick built home. Modular homes are built equal to or exceeding your state and local building codes that are inspected by factory, state, and third party inspectors to guaranty quality. They are built in pieces or "modules" using approximately 30% more lumber than stick built. They are connected to a foundation and each other, to finish a one, two, or three story home with any number of modules. Modular homes appreciate, appraise, and resell at the same rate as or even better than stick built homes.
